Automobile safety is the study and practice of vehicle design, construction, and equipment to minimize the occurrence and consequences of automobile accidents.

We have safety features such as seat belts and air bags to protect us in the event of a collision. A lot more people died in car accidents before these safety features and now more people are likely to survive a car wreck with them. That’s why we have them.
So that we do not die.
